In throwing around ideas about what mattered most in opening a practice, two things stood out. I wanted staff to feel valued, cared for, and happy in their work, and for them to feel empowered to bring excellent care to our clients. It is the people! Further inspired by the great work of Carl Rogers on person centred care, Person Centred Psychology & Allied Health was born.
We started by carefully selecting staff who were passionate about their work and colleagues, then treating them really well. We have since evolved together, and as well as having a range of supervision options to suit each member of the team, we thrive by laughing, supporting one another, and eating and geeking out in each other’s company.
Since moving to South Melbourne and being able to walk beside some of our local referrers and allied health friends, Person Centred Psychology & Allied Health continues to grow. We are therefore regularly looking to add new clinicians to our team.
Interested? We’ve love it if you send us an email or give us a call to have a chat.
In the meantime, we have asked some members of the team to share a few words about what they most love about working here. If you're keen to work alongside these wonderful humans, reach out!

“In New Zealand, where I grew up and studied the art and science of psychology, I often heard a great Maori proverb which resonated with me. "What matters most in this world? He Tangata, He Tangata, He Tangata; It is the people, it is the people, it is the people”.
