Our Friends
Part of our commitment to person centred care includes considering all aspects that may be contributing to the difficulties that lead you to reach out to our practice. We seek to help you to the very best of our skills and knowledge, and also hold awareness of when other services or approaches may contribute to your support alongside or instead of us. Below are some local health practitioners who we have learnt add wonderful value to our community’s healing process.
Uncovery
Uncovery is an eating disorder recovery coaching service that is dedicated to helping individuals reach their recovery goals in daily life. We do this through a range of support services including: Recovery Coaching, Meal Support, In-Home Cooking, Grocery Shopping and Live-in/Transitional support that are available both in-person, and virtually.
They know that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach with recovery, so they make it our priority to individualise each coaching program, whilst collaborating closely with the rest of the treatment team each step of the way.
It is their goal to help their clients establish healthy relationship with food and body, develop new coping skills and strategies, and build a life with meaning and purpose beyond the eating disorder.

The Conscious Combat Club
The Conscious Combat Club combines consciousness with the physicality of martial arts to facilitate a shift from a defensive mindset to an offensive one. By encouraging individuals to delve into their vulnerabilities and process their trauma, they can unlock their body's complete strength and potential. The club adopts a trauma-informed approach to teaching combat, aiming to broaden people's ability to tolerate challenging situations.
Georgia, an experienced martial artist with 15 years of practice, has witnessed numerous women undergo personal transformations through their martial arts journey. Recognising that traditional martial arts schools pose obstacles for women, Georgia collaborates with each client to establish a secure and inclusive learning environment. Classes are conducted in small groups, emphasising empowerment, fostering a connection with the body, and incorporating movement-based mindfulness.
